Jaguar F-Type & X-Type

According to a recent report, Jaguar has green-lighted the F and X-type Tata Motors CEO confirmed the models were currently under development. While he declined to say when they would be released, he stated both vehicles would come in “several variations.”

We can assume this means the X-Type will be offered as a sedan and estate, while the F-type (possibly called the XE) will be available as a coupe and roadster.

Other details remain scarce, but speculation seems to suggest both vehicles will ride on a modified aluminum chassis which is being built for the next-generation XF.

Besides talking about the aforementioned models, Forster also revealed plans to introduce an XF Estate and an XF LWB (long wheelbase) for the Chinese market.
